Infinity Honored to be Named Fredericksburg Small Business of the Year

Infinity Technologies was honored to be awarded the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award at the Chamber’s Annual Awards and Gala. This recognition, given by the chamber and commission, is awarded to a company with 25 or fewer employees that is successful financially and involved with the Chamber and the community.

As a company, Infinity Technologies started in the Fredericksburg region 19 years ago by three local college students. Recently, we moved offices and while we entertained the idea of changing regions, we decided not to leave the area. We built our business in Fredericksburg, our families are here, and we love it here.

Over the past two decades the Fredericksburg area has grown in population and we have been fortunate to grow along with it. The local community has been incredibly supportive by choosing us to be their IT partner even though there are a lot of larger, national companies to choose from. We love to help businesses in the area by providing the IT solutions and support that help them through daily challenges and opportunities.

We also try to do our best in giving back to the community. In addition to formerly serving on the Board at the Chamber of Commerce, Eric Watkins, our cofounder and General Manager, serves on the Board of Directors for The Brisben Center. The Brisben Center provides shelter, food and support to at-risk adults and children.

Additionally, we have a special discount for non-profits and community-based organizations to get them up and running. We feel that supporting our community partners in that small way can help to contribute to the overall health of the region as a whole.

A huge ‘thank you’ to Susan Spears, Whitney Watts and the rest of the chamber staff for their incredible support of the local business community.  We are happy to be a part of the community and honored to be recognized in this way.
